Bowman is widely regarded as one of the premier aerial acquisition companies in North America. We distinguish ourselves from other firms by operating a fleet of eleven aircraft. This resource, supported by our maintenance staff and our on-site maintenance and repair hangar, provides several benefits to the acquisition phase:
- Collectively, our fleet has the ability to host any of our aerial data acquisition instruments (digital imaging sensors, film cameras, and lidar sensors)
- We have a mix of slower/lower and faster/higher aircraft to address our versatile acquisition equipment and maximize our resources
- Acquisition is planned around required FAA inspections and maintenance, assuring down time does not impact schedules
Bowman currently operates a fleet of thirteen aerial photography aircraft out of our Chesterfield, Missouri flight center at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport. We employ full-time A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) personnel to perform FAA-certified inspection, maintenance, and repair:
- Four Cessna 441 Conquest II-10 with RVSM
- One Cessna 414A Chancellor III
- Four Cessna 208A/208B Caravan
- Four Cessna TU-206F Turbo Stationair
