Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd., under this contract with the Texas DIR, performs aerial acquisition (imagery and lidar) and production of digital orthoimagery / lidar without the use of subcontractors to fully control all resources and priorities to meet schedule, quality, and accuracy expectations.
- Aircraft: owns and operates a fleet of 11 aerial photography aircraft: 4 Cessna 441 Conquests, 1 Cessna 414 Chancellor III, 2 Cessna 208A/208B Caravans, and 4 Cessna TU-206s
- Sensors: 19 large- and medium-format digital sensors, including 4 Phase One frame sensors, 4 Leica ADS100 Airborne Digital Sensors, 4 Leica DMC-1 digital mapping cameras, 2 Phase One IXU-RS-1000 systems, a Leica RCD30 system, 3 Teledyne Optech Galaxy Prime lidar sensors, and one Riegl VQ 1560 III-S lidar sensor
- Staff: Bowman has 2,400 employees in 105 offices nationwide, with over 100 highly experienced technical staff in our geospatial group at its production office and hangar complex located at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport Chesterfield, Missouri
